PATH charges one flat fare for any ride, however far you go and whichever line you take. There is no peak price, no zone and no distance charge, so a one-stop hop from Exchange Place to World Trade Center costs the same as Newark to 33rd Street. That is why the trip pages on this site show one fare for every PATH pair.
You pay at the turnstile with a PATH SmartLink card, a contactless bank card or phone through TAPP, or a pay-per-ride MetroCard. Unlimited-ride MetroCards and OMNY are not accepted on PATH. Reduced fares for seniors are issued on a Senior SmartLink card. Multi-trip bundles bring the per-ride price down for regular riders and are loaded onto the same SmartLink card.
