Data sources
Every number on this site traces back to something an operator published. Nothing is estimated, and nothing is scraped from another website.
Schedules
- LIRR and Metro-North: the MTA's public GTFS feeds, refreshed weekly.
- NJ Transit rail: the NJ Transit rail GTFS feed, refreshed weekly.
- PATH: the PATH GTFS feed.
Trip times, stop sequences, first and last train, and the weekday, Saturday and Sunday service counts are all computed from those feeds. Service counts are taken from one real service date in each bucket, not summed across the feed window, so the numbers match a day you could actually travel.
Fares
- LIRR: MTA Long Island Rail Road station fares, effective 4 January 2026.
- Metro-North: MTA fare charts to Grand Central and the New Haven Line intermediate fares, effective 1 July 2026.
- NJ Transit: the fare tables printed in each line's official timetable.
- PATH: the flat fare declared in the PATH GTFS feed.
Station attributes
Fare zone, branch, accessibility status and official station links come from the MTA Rail Stations dataset published on New York State's open data portal.
Corrections
If a fare or a time here does not match what the operator shows, the operator is right and we have a bug. Tell us and we will fix it and note what changed.
