Privacy Policy

Short version: no accounts, no cookies of our own, no advertising trackers, and nothing sold or shared. The detail is below.

Last updated 14 August 2026 · Effective 1 September 2026

What we collect

Commuter Lines has no accounts, no logins and no newsletter. There is nothing to sign up for, so we do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or payment details, and we have no database of users.

Two things are recorded when you visit:

What we do not do

If any of that changes, this page changes first, with the date updated at the top.

Cookies

The site sets no cookies of its own. There is no login to keep you signed in and no preference to remember, so there is nothing for a cookie to hold.

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers and Google receives your IP address as part of that request. Google states it does not set cookies for font requests. If you would rather avoid this entirely, a content blocker will stop it and the site still works, just with your system's default typefaces.

Third parties

Two services can see a request from you:

We do not embed social media widgets, comment systems, chat boxes, heatmaps or session recorders.

Your rights

Because we hold no account data, most data requests have a short answer: there is nothing on file about you beyond time-limited server logs.

If you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR gives you the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to it. If you are in California, the CCPA gives you the right to know what is collected and to ask that it be deleted, and the right not to be discriminated against for asking. We do not sell personal information, so there is no sale to opt out of. To exercise any of these, email contact@commuterlines.com.

Our lawful basis for processing server logs is legitimate interest: keeping the site running and secure.

Children

This site is a transit reference, not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

Material changes will be reflected here with a new date at the top. Because there is no mailing list, checking this page is the way to see what changed.
