Not an operator

Commuter Lines does not run trains, sell tickets, issue refunds, or hold lost property. We are a reference site with no connection to the MTA, NJ Transit or the Port Authority.

If you need a ticket, a refund, a delay claim, a lost item or help at a station, contact the operator. We cannot help with any of those and cannot pass a message on.

What can be out of date here

The data is refreshed weekly from the operators' published feeds. Between refreshes, and sometimes even at the moment of publishing, these can be wrong:

• Today's service. Delays, cancellations and track changes are not reflected at all. This is a timetable, not a live board.
• Holiday and weekend timetables. Many operators run a special schedule on public holidays.
• Planned engineering work. Weekend closures and substitutions often are not in the scheduled feed.
• Fare revisions. Fares come from published charts with an effective date, shown on each page. A revision announced after that date will not appear until we update.
• New or closed stations. These follow a feed update.

Accessibility information

Station accessibility status comes from the MTA's own open data and describes the station as designed. It cannot tell you whether a specific lift or escalator is working today. If step-free access matters for your trip, check with the operator before you set out.

Fares

Fares shown are the standard published fares for the ticket types listed. They do not account for every discount, promotion, combination ticket or reduced-fare programme, and buying on board usually costs more. Each page names the fare chart it used and that chart's effective date.

Report something wrong

A correction is the most useful message you can send us. Tell us the page and the figure you believe is wrong, and it gets fixed. See contact.
