The New Haven Line serves 33 stations on Metro-North, in fare zones 1–21. There are 824 station pairs with direct service along it. Pick a station for its full schedule, fares and destinations.
The New Haven Line runs from Grand Central through Harlem-125th Street, the Bronx, Westchester's Sound Shore and the Connecticut coast, with Stamford, Bridgeport and New Haven as its major stations.
It is Metro-North's busiest line and the only one on overhead catenary, which it shares with Amtrak. Three branches feed it in Connecticut: New Canaan at Stamford, Danbury at South Norwalk and Waterbury at Bridgeport. Stamford is the main change point and the terminus for many trains, and at New Haven the line meets Amtrak and CTrail's Shore Line East and Hartford Line.
Fares use a separate zone series from the Hudson and Harlem Lines, and the Connecticut portion is priced with the Connecticut Department of Transportation. New Haven intermediate fares, for trips that do not touch Manhattan, are loaded on this site; the other lines' intermediate fares are not yet.
