The Long Beach Branch runs from Jamaica through Valley Stream, Lynbrook, Centre Avenue, East Rockaway, Oceanside and Island Park to Long Beach, on the barrier island.
It is electrified and runs through to the city terminals, with extra service on summer weekends for the beach. It shares the inner stretch between Jamaica and Valley Stream with the Far Rockaway and West Hempstead branches, and Lynbrook is also a Babylon Branch station, so those stations carry trains from more than one branch.
