The Babylon Branch serves 26 stations on LIRR, in fare zones 1–9. There are 529 station pairs with direct service along it. Pick a station for its full schedule, fares and destinations.
The Babylon Branch runs along the South Shore of Nassau and western Suffolk, from Jamaica through Rockville Centre, Freeport and Massapequa to Babylon. It is electrified end to end, so trains run through to Penn Station, Grand Central Madison and Atlantic Terminal without a change.
It is one of the busiest LIRR branches, and the Montauk Branch's diesel trains use the same tracks between Babylon and Jamaica, which is why some Babylon stations see Montauk trains as well. At peak, express trains skip the inner stations; the stopping-pattern rows on each trip page show how many trains on that pair do.
Most riders heading for Brooklyn change at Jamaica, where the Atlantic Terminal trains wait across the platform. Trains to Grand Central Madison and Penn Station split at Jamaica as well, so check the terminal before you board a westbound train.
