The single most-asked timetable question is whether a train runs late enough, or early enough, for a particular plan. Every trip page on this site lists the first and last weekday departure for its pair. This guide gathers the extremes across the published trips so you can see the shape of the day on each network.
How the times are computed
Each trip page counts the trains on one representative weekday, Saturday and Sunday from the operator's schedule feed, and takes the first and last departure from the origin on the weekday. The tables below are built from those same figures on the trips released so far, not from the whole timetable, so a pair that is not yet published is not represented.

Reading the tables
A last train listed at, say, 12:18 AM is a departure after midnight on the weekday schedule; it belongs to the previous evening's service. Weekend timetables differ, sometimes a lot, and are counted separately on each trip page. None of this reflects today's disruptions: for live running, use the operator's app.
Times are from the schedule feeds dated on every page. If an operator changes a timetable, the feeds are refreshed weekly and the tables here change with them.
